 Reniat returns to her home village after years away at boarding school to find that the village is nearly deserted. Having trained as an adventurer, she decides to see what she can do about reviving the town and making a name for herself in the world.

Cein returns to the Kingdom of Faehren after successfully obtaining a rare flower from the top of Mt. Marien. Something is amiss however; he is missing his commanding officer and the rest of the Helios Brigade he had gone on the mission with. King Hildran does not care however; he got the rare flower and that’s what matters. Lind and Garrus have seen a change in Cein, however; his left eye, once a bright blue, has changed to a bright green. He walks as if in a daze and refuses to speak about what happened. When Cein’s change begins to affect their missions, Lind and Garrus decide they must get to the bottom of this.
